Books Kinokuniya's Bryant Park store features both Japanese and English editions of new, popular and classic manga titles, including these Japanese editions of Real by Takehiko Inoue.
As Inoue's follow-up title to his hugely popular sports manga series Slam Dunk, Real is also about basketball, but with a twist: the players are all on wheelchairs. While the circumstances that led to their disabilities are very different, all three young men share one thing: a passion for playing basketball.
VIZ Media will be releasing an English language edition of Real for the first time in the U.S. in July 2008.
