As one of the oldest and most venerated Buddhist temples in Tokyo, the Asakusa Sensō-ji temple is a popular destination for tourists to snap a few photos. Kaminarimon or "Thunder Gate" fronts the pathway to the temple and features a huge lantern and two statues of the gods of lightning and thunder.
