On Day 2, we visited the Chofu Fireworks Festival in a small town just outside of Tokyo. The weather was damp, but the festival food was tasty and plentiful, including yakisoba, bata jaga (buttered potatos) and takoyaki (octopus dumplings), filled with ginger, cabbage and pieces of cooked octopus.
