The movie version of Aya Nakahara's shojo manga romantic comedy, Love*Com made its US debut at the 2007 New York Anime Festival in December 2007 and was released on DVD in the US and Canada in February 2008.
The DVD includes numerous extra features, including a After School Christmas, a full-length featurette about Heikichi and Nobuko's attempts to help Ryoji give Chiharu a romantic gift for Christmas. Other features include an interview and music video featuring faux-pirate rapper Umibozu, a mini-feature Hello Girlfriend! starring the real All Hanshin Kyojin manzai comedy duo and the original Japanese movie trailers.
