Originally serialized in Magazine GREAT and currently appearing in Monthly Shonen Magazine, Pumpkin Scissors is set in a fictionalized Western European country in a period roughly mirroring the time between WWI and WWII – but that's where it's ties to our reality taper off. Much like the steam-punk Europe depicted in Full Metal Alchemist, the world of Pumpkin Scissors is a post-war society governed by a militaristic government. "Pumpkin Scissors" is the code name for an elite task force that seeks to uncover and defeat corruption and propaganda. And as in Full Metal Alchemist, this shonen manga series does it with a mix of action, drama, humor and heart.

With 7 volumes and counting, Pumpkin Scissors has been adapted into an animated series and has been picked up by ADV Films for release in North America. As part of the Del Rey Manga roster, it makes its debut on American bookshelves in November 2007.
