Leon and Andy came from Minneapolis to check out the New York Anime Festival and got into the spirit by making and wearing their eye-catching cosplay creations.
Leon (in purple) came dressed as Nights from the NiGHTS into Dreams video game. His one-of-a-kind outfit took him 60 hours to create. When I asked him to name his favorite manga series, he singled out Soul to Seoul (TokyoPop), "because it's original and it has a street feel to it."
Meanwhile, Andy turned a lot of heads with his Allen Walker (D.Gray Man) cosplay, complete with an oversized "anti-Akuma" arm. Andy picked several manga series as his favorites, including Naruto, Bleach, Gantz, Berzerk and of course, D.Gray Man.
