Publisher Yen Press had several major announcements at NYAF, including more details about their manga and manhwa anthology magazine, Yen Plus.

Assistant Editor Tania Biswas and Co-Publishing Director Rich Johnston came to the NYAF with lots of copies of their latest releases, World of Quest, Zombie Loan and Spiral: The Bounds of Reasoning. Visiting the Yen Press booth was translator Christine Schilling, who worked on the English editions of Alice on Deadlines, Zombie Loan and Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning.

Yen Press announced several new manga and manhwa releases for 2008, including Shoulder A Coffin Kuro, Sunshine Sketch and Kaze no Hana. Yen Press also announced more details about their manga and manhwa anthology magazine, Yen Plus, which will debut in Summer 2008. Yen Plus will feature 12 series, including a manga adaptation of James Patterson's Maximum Ride series and Night School, the new 'urban fantasy' series by Svetlana Chmakova.
