A familiar sight on the NYAF exhibit hall floor was TokyoPop publisher Stu Levy and a Van Von Hunter cosplayer who were filming a faux-umentary feature with the working title "Van Von Hunter in Maiden Quest".
Van and crew crashed Friday night's Anime Insider / World Cosplay Summit masquerade, and then at their Saturday morning panel, audience members were encouraged to boo, throw stuff at Van and toss him out of the room for the cameras. Who knows what all this is for? We'll find out in 2008 when Levy unveils his movie project to the public.
