About This Event:

"Largest Anime Convention in the U.S."

Anime Expo is the primary annual event hosted by The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA). In 2008, Anime Expo's attendance topped 43,000 attendees over the course of 4 days.

Anime Expo's Exhibit Hall offers a vast collection of import and domestic anime and manga merchandise, as well as galleries featuring artwork by leading anime and manga artists. Other events include industry panels, workshops for traditional and contemporary Japanese culture , video and film presentations, charity auction, concerts, and AniMatsuri, a Japanese-themed festival.
