Jeff and Kelly came to Sakura-Con 2008 from Federal Way, Washington in their handmade Keroro and Giroro masks and outfits.
While conceding that the masks were hot to wear, Jeff and Kelly posed graciously (and dynamically) for anyone who asked and shared a secret about how they made their masks: "We blew up two beach balls and covered them with paper mache." Then the pair painstakingly applied fabric to the balls and after days of effort, voila! Two alien frog invaders ready for action.
When I asked them about their favorite manga, Kelly replied, "Sgt. Frog is my current favorite -- it's so hilarious!"
