While there were a lot of soul reapers and ninjas prowling Sakura-Con, these two cosplayers made a statement for Leiji Matsumoto's classic creations, Galaxy Express 999 and Space Pirate Captain Harlock.
When I asked these two Seattle-based cosplayers about their favorite manga, Aimee put her vote in for Trigun. "Yasuhiro Nightow is a realy good storyteller, and he features strong women characters who don't need to be rescued." Chris chimed in with his favorites, "Trigun, and Priest -- both series have a really dynamic style."
