These cute "Tezuka Moderno" versions of Osamu Tezuka characters were on display (but not for sale) at Organic Hobby's booth at New York Comic-Con.
Meanwhile, Vertical Inc. reported brisk sales of their latest Tezuka manga release, Dororo and lots of interest in their next Tezuka release, Black Jack. Also at NYCC, Digital Manga Publishing announced that they picked up the license to publish Swallowing the Earth a lesser known title by the "Godfather of Manga" from 1968.
