Matsuri Hino's romantic and suspenseful shojo manga series Vampire Knight gave many couples a chance to come in cosplay together. Susan and James, both from Garden Grove, California came as Yuki Cross and her aristocratic vampire beau, Kaname Clan.
When I asked the pair about their favorite manga, Susan chose Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. "It just opens my eyes to a lot of things," she said. Meanwhile, James picked Doraemon. "I grew up with it – it's one of my favorites."
