Over 125,000 fans gathered from near and far to attend the biggest and the best comics convention in the U.S., San Diego Comic-Con International 2009. Now in its 40th year, Comic-Con welcomed several notable guests from Japan and the U.S., including comics legend Stan Lee, Japanese manga artists Hiroyuki Takei and Yoshinori Natsume, Korean manhwa creator NaRae Lee and Freddy Highmore and Kristen Bell from the Astro Boy movie.
