Island fans flocked to Hawaii's only major festival for anime, manga and gaming, Kawaii-Kon. Now in its 5th year, Kawaii-Kon welcomed several notable guests from Japan and the U.S., including Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai, anime director Shinji Aramaki, voice actor Vic Mignogna and Japanese rock bands Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re and The Emeralds.
