In their candy-colored satin dresses and furry ears, Heather, Brigid and Sarah made a super-sweet Tokyo Mew Mew trio. When I asked them what makes Mia Ikumi and Reiko Yoshida's shojo fantasy so appealing, they all agreed when Brigid replied, "I like the artwork and the story is really cute."
Over 18,000 anime, manga, Japanese fashion and pop culture fans came out to the 2nd annual New York Anime Festival at Manhattan's Jacob K. Javits Center.
