Numerous voice actors and actresses made appearances at New York Anime Festival, including the cast members from Funimation's release of Claymore.
Over 18,000 anime, manga, Japanese fashion and pop culture fans came out to the 2nd annual New York Anime Festival at Manhattan's Jacob K. Javits Center. Special guests included the creators of Vampire Hunter D, author Hideyuki Kikuchi and artist Yoshitaka Amano; Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, anime voice actress Rie Tanaka and the designers of Lolita couture house Baby The Stars Shine Bright.
