Thanks to the arrival of the Japanese fashion designers for Baby The Stars Shine Bright, many lovely Lolitas came to the New York Anime Festival.
When I asked Courtney what attracted her to this sweet style, she replied, "It's very girly. It helps me to live the dream of being a princess."
She was first introduced to the style through her interest in Japanese rock or J-Rock music. "I got into J-Rock first, then found out about Lolita fashion. Now I have eight dresses and God knows how many accessories."
