Before you think Yaoi-Con 2007 was strictly a girls' club, it's worth noting that a fair amount of guys came to enjoy the scene that weekend at the San Mateo Marriott. Christian and Justin came out from Livermore, California because they "love cosplay." Justin's Sanji outfit deserves a special shout out because he painstakingly hand-drew the pin-stripes on this home-sewn orange shirt.
When asked about their favorite manga, Justin (Sanji) chose One Piece, Naruto and Trigun. Meanwhile, Christian (Luffy) also picked Naruto, Death Note and, of course, One Piece. "I love it to death! I really relate to Luffy -- I'm laid-back and carefree like he is and I really relate to how he feels about his friends."
