Art Contest: Want to Win a Year of Free Manga?

Sharpen your pencils and ink up your pens! It's time to show off your artwork skills for a chance to win a year's worth of free graphic novels from Del Rey Manga.

The 2007 New York Anime Festival has partnered with Del Rey Manga and theOtaku.com to sponsor this opportunity for artists. Just create your original artwork on the theme of winter, submit it to TheOtaku.com. Your art will be shown to the attendees of the inaugural New York Anime Festival on December 7 - 9, 2007 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. After a vote from Anime Festival attendees, the most popular piece will win every new release from Del Rey Manga for the year 2008. Pretty sweet!

There are rules to follow and forms to fill out, and you have until November 1 to give it your best shot. So start sketching and maybe you might be the lucky manga-ka to score a year of free comics!
