Kekkaishi Volume 33Not long ago, VIZ Media offered fans something they've been wanting for a while: a native VIZ Manga app for Android phones. Now they've added the next thing that digital manga readers have been clamoring for: a version of their Android app for 7-inch tablet computers.

The VIZ Media Android app is free to download from the Google Play store. Just like VIZ's iOS apps, the VIZ Manga Android app lets you use the same log-in to buy and read manga on your computer and devices -- buy once, read anywhere.

To make it even more worth your while to enjoy VIZ Manga on your digital devices, VIZ is offering their End of Summer Sale -- all titles on VIZManga.com are now 20% off from now through August 20, 2012. On top of that, many new titles are available as day and date releases. For example, the latest volumes of Kekkaishi and Bleach will be available digitally on the same day that they're available in print.

You can check out all of the VIZ Manga apps for iOS and Android at VIZ Media's homepage for their apps at http://www.viz.com/apps.

Have you given the VIZ Media Android app for tablets a try? What do you think of it? Add your comments below!

Viz android app only works on some devices, not all. It is not available for my ASUS Transformer. Sure I could get it for my HTC EVO phone, but a screen that small is useless to me. Viz still is not a bankable business model IMO. They need to reach a wider audience, not just the people with the newest stuff.
