Gate 7 Vol. 1You picked 'em, now it's time to see which of the five nominees will be the Readers' Choice Awards winner for Best New Shonen Manga in the 2012 About.com Manga Readers' Choice Awards polls.

The five finalists all came from your recommendations that were received during the nominations period, between mid-January to mid-February, and it's a pretty interesting mix.

Two-time nominee Blue Exorcist (it's also nominated in the Best New Manga category) must now duke it out against four other shonen series, including fellow Shonen Jump freshman Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan. Also competing for your vote is Cage of Eden, a survival action/adventure series from Kodansha Comics, Countdown 7 Days, a supernatural suspense series  from Digital Manga Publishing, and Gate 7,  the long awaited new series from CLAMP, published by Dark Horse Comics.
