When the first volume of the Twilight graphic novel came out in Spring 2010, it was one of the most hotly-anticipated graphic novels of the season and a lightning rod all at once. It remained on the NY Times bestseller list for months, but it was also widely criticized for its awkwardly-placed word balloons and typesetting.
But the first volume wasn't the end of the story -- in fact, it only told half of the first volume of Stephenie Meyer's supernatural romance/adventure tale. Now Yen Press has announced the release date of the second volume of the series by Meyer and Korean manhwa creator Young Kim. If you've been waiting for the second volume, you won't have to wait too much longer -- Yen Press is promising that Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 2 will hit the shelves on October 11, 2011 as both a hardcover book (with a 350,000 initial print run!) and as an ebook.
You'll be able to purchase the print edition of Twilight: The Graphic Novel Volume 2 for $19.99 ($22.99 in Canada). The price for the ebook edition wasn't announced, but you can count on that info becoming available as October nears. For more info, visit Yen Press' website for Twilight: The Graphic Novel.
