Psyren Vol. 1Now that you've heard about what the folks at VIZ Media have planned for the revamped January 2011 issue of Shonen Jump Magazine, how about a sneak peek before this issue hits the stands on December 7?

Check out a preview gallery of pages from the new Shonen Jump magazine, plus get introduced to the three new  series that will be debuting in both the print and online edition of this monthly manga magazine.

The new series are:

  • Psyren by Toshiaki Iwashiro
  • Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan by Hiroshi Shiibashi
  • Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's by Masahiro Hikokubo, Masashi Saito

Nurarihyon is pretty boring.
Psyren is okay (Acquiring Beelzebub and putting it on the SJA imprint would have made my day though)
Reading about Dueling on Bikes…LOL, no.

Nothing else from WSJ/Jump Square that isn’t licensed, is interesting.

Damnit there are things from ShoSun that I would like Viz to acquire though :V
