This weekend, over 100,000 people passed through the doors at New York Comic-Con / New York Anime Expo 2010, and believe me, as someone who waded through all that humanity over a weekend, it certainly felt like it.
But for all the elbow-rubbing and jostling that I had to endure, there were more than enough cool things to see and do to make the trip to the Javits Center worthwhile. For one thing, there were lots of comics creators in attendance, including Megaman creator Keiji Inafune, Nightschool creator Svetlana Chmakova, comics legend Stan Lee, a pack of very talented creators from Japan and way too many more to count.
And did I mention the costumes? There were some pretty nifty ones, so if you're looking for a cool idea for Halloween, or if you just want to see what you missed this weekend, check out the first batch of photos I posted in my 2010 New York Comic-Con / New York Anime Festival Photo Gallery.
This is only the first of many photos that I shot this weekend, so stick around, because I'll be updating and adding more photos over the next few days.
