Earlier this afternoon, the folks at Yaoi-Con announced their first guest of honor, and boy, it was a doozy. Fan favorite manga artist Ayano Yamane will be making a return to Yaoi-Con 2010. Yamane-sensei last came to Yaoi-Con in 2004, and since then, her fan following has only grown, as she's released volume after volume of gorgeous guys in sensual situations like A Foreign Love Affair and Crimson Spell.
Also, the dates for Yaoi-Con 2010 were announced, along with the news that they'll be moving the festivities to a new hotel. This year, the 10th anniversary of Yaoi-Con will be celebrated on October 29 - 31, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in nearby Burlingame in Northern California. Special con rates have been posted, so you can book your room now for this always popular event. Early bird registration has also opened, so you can get your weekend passes at a discounted rate from the usual at-the-door pricing.
