This week's edition of the New York Times Graphic Books list brought us a few notable newcomers, but the eyebrow-raiser moment this morning was seeing Chibi Vampire Vol. 14 and Vampire Kisses Vol. 3 (both from TokyoPop) climbing from their mid-chart positions to claim the top two spots. To make this feat even more momentous, it accomplished this in a week when a new volume of Naruto hit the shelves.
The other two debuts were Shugo Chara Vol. 7 by Peach-Pit and Negima! Neo by Ken Akamatsu and Takuya Fujiyama, both from Del Rey Manga.
