Now that the long-awaited shojo manga version of Marvel's Uncanny X-Men has hit the bookstores, Del Rey Manga has announced several events for fans to meet and talk with the authors of X-Men: Misfits, Dave Roman and Raina Telgemeier.
On Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), Roman and Telgemeier will be chatting live with fans via a webcast on Suvudu.com. Fans are encouraged to send questions ahead of time via email to delreymanga@randomhouse.com.

X-Men Misfits also made its debut on this week's New York Times Graphic Books bestseller list, albeit on the paperback graphic novels list? Hrm. Anyway, go say hi to Roman and Telgemeier at one of these three events, and check out a few preliminary sketches from this series to get a taste of what's in store when you pick up this Marvel manga mash-up.
