The folks behind Yaoi-Con, America's first convention devoted to boys love manga, anime and artwork recently announced the dates and venue for their 9th annual gathering. After their September 2008 show dates conflicted with New York Anime Festival, Yaoi-Con 2009 will be once again held on Halloween weekend, from Friday October 30 to Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Marriott San Mateo-San Francisco Airport, in San Mateo, California.
Registration for this show is now open, which means from now through May 31, 2009 you can sign up for a weekend pass for $40.00, the lowest price available. After that, the prices go up until day of the show, when it'll be $60.00 to enjoy all three days of this boys love fun-fest.
Hotel reservations at the Marriott San Mateo are now also open for the discounted block of rooms set aside for this show. These almost always sell out prior to the show, so if you're keen on attending, it's a good idea to book your room soon.
