Pop Japan Travel has added another very special event to their 2009 "Cold Steel Tour" itinerary by adding a meet and greet with Hideyuki Kikuchi, the creator of Vampire Hunter D. Tour members will get a rare opportunity to meet and mingle with this best-selling author, in addition to meeting Mori Chack, the artist/creator of Gloomy Bear. Add to that a trip to the Sapporo Snow Festival, a bean-throwing good time while observing Setsubun in Kamakura, visits to the Ghibli Museum, and of course Akihabara and much more.
The tour departs from Los Angeles on January 30 and returns on February 7, 2009. Cost for the tour starts at $2,719 and includes airfare, hotels, transportation and admission to most events and attractions. Deadline for sign-up is December 19, 2008, and only requires payment of your deposit to save your place on this one-of-kind tour.
Not quite ready to commit to this winter journey to Japan?
