Comic-Con '08: How to Meet Fairy Tail Manga-ka Hiro Mashima

Want to meet and get an autograph from Fairy Tail manga-ka Hiro Mashima at Comic-Con? Well, like anything worth getting at this annual pop culture fan fest, it'll take a little planning on your part.

Del Rey Manga has two autograph sessions planned for Mashima-sensei -- one on Friday, July 25 and one on Saturday, July 27. To get a spot in line, you'll need to head to The Comic Celler at Booth #806, purchase a copy of Fairy Tail Volumes 1, 2 or the spanking new Volume 3, and you'll get a pass for a place in line. Quantities are limited, so do this as soon as possible.

Once you've secured your pass, check the date -- make sure you'll be available to attend the autograph session listed on your ticket. There are two autograph times:

• Friday, July 25, 2:30 - 3:30 pm at Del Rey Manga Booth #1128
• Saturday, July 26, 4:30 - 4:30 - 6:30 at Autograph Area 1

Even if you miss out on either session, you can still check out the Hiro Mashima spotlight panel hosted by Del Rey Manga:

• Saturday, July 26, 2:30 - 3:30 pm at Room 10

Word to the wise -- like many popular Comic-Con panel events, space is limited and available on first-come, first-seated basis. So come early to stand in line to help ensure your spot to catch this cool event for manga fans.
