New York Anime Fest Moves September Show Dates
New York Anime Festival organizer Reed Exhibitions recently announced a date change for the 2008 NYAF, moving from its initially announced weekend of September 12 - 14, 2008, to its new dates, September 26 - 28, 2008.
"The New York Anime Festival apologizes over any confusion with our 2008 dates," Show Manager Lance Fensterman said. "The Jacob Javits Center is always in demand, and getting any dates in the building is difficult. Our new dates are the result of further discussion with the convention center, and we're staying put right here. We'll see you all September 26th!"
Last year's NYAF was held in December, but organizers opted to move the show to September, presumably to avoid conflicts with the holiday season and another bout of chilly Manhattan winter weather. NYAF will now be held on the same weekend as Yaoi-Con 2008, which also moved from its late October timeslot to late September.

I’m so bitter about it! I’ll have to miss Yaoi Con because of it!
