Voting Opens for TokyoPop's Rising Stars of Manga 8

With the presidential elections and the new season of American Idol in full swing, it seems only fitting to mention that there's another opportunity to make your voices heard through voting. TokyoPop's Rising Stars of Manga 8 is giving manga readers a chance to vote for the "People's Choice" story that will be included in the next RSOM graphic novel compilation that will be out in July 2008.

You get to choose your one favorite from 21 short manga stories submitted to TokyoPop by aspiring American manga creators. There's lots to choose from in several art styles and story genres -- from medieval adventure to modern romance, and almost everything in between. But choose carefully, as you'll only be able to vote once.

You have until now through Friday, March 14 to make your choice, so head on over to TokyoPop's Rising Stars of Manga 8 voting page to start reading and selecting the next up-and-coming OEL manga creator.
