The arrival of a new year means it's time to consider a few resolutions. So if you're like me, a heavy manga buying habit can be a budget-buster. With so much great manga coming out this coming year and so many current releases to catch up on, how can a manga-fanatic feed their crack-tastic addiction to comics and still pay for stuff like food, clothes and rent?

I like eating, shopping and having a roof over my head too much to go too nuts with my manga habit, but here are a few thrifty tips that have worked for me, plus one that I can't quite recommend but well, it works for a lot of folks.
