In Japan, Gothic & Lolita Bible has been the magazine at the forefront of this dramatic and romantic fashion/lifestyle. Now TokyoPop has announced that they'll be releasing a new English language edition of Gothic & Lolita Bible that will be available for $19.99 in bookstores quarterly starting in February 2008. Filled with full-color photos, articles and interviews, the first English-language issue of Gothic & Lolita Bible will feature:

  • Cover story interview with Mitsukazu Mihara, the manga artist and creator of Doll
  • Interview with J-Pop superstar Nana Kitade
  • Interview with animator, cosplay designer and author of Japan Ai, Aimee Major Steinberger
  • Profiles of Japanese and American Gothic and Lolita designers
  • Patterns to create your own romantic accessories
  • And of course, lots and lots of photos of street styles, featuring Gothic Lolitas, sweet Lolitas, punk Lolitas and more straight from Tokyo

TokyoPop will be promoting Gothic Lolita style at the New York Anime Festival this weekend at the Jacob Javits Center, with a Gothic Lolita high tea and fashion show at the TokyoPop booth (#100) from 4 - 5:30 pm on Saturday.
