This weekend, girls who love boys love manga, anime and games are converging in the San Francisco Bay Area for the 7th annual Yaoi-Con. Billed as "A Celebration of Male Beauty and Passion in Anime and Manga," Yaoi-Con is a fan-run event that caters to fans of bishonen (beautiful boys) and yaoi (boys love) comics, fan-fiction, movies and games. Because of the adult content in many yaoi titles, attendance is restricted to fans age 18 and older.
We'll be posting photos and news from Yaoi-Con later this weekend, but if you're in the Bay Area, drop by the San Mateo Marriott Hotel from Friday through Sunday for an all-you-can-eat boys love feast.
